Peppered Cheese Ball


  Amount  Measure   Ingredient

      2     cup     grated Monterey Jack cheese (8 oz)
      1             8 oz package cream cheese (room temperature)
      1     tsp     fines herbes
      1     tsp     minced chives
      1     tsp     Worcestershire sauce
      2             garlic clove, crushed
 2 to 3     Tbl     seasoned pepper

Combine first six ingredients - shape into a ball.  On waxed paper
spread pepper into an even layer.  Roll cheese ball in pepper until
completely covered.  Refrigerate at least 6 hours or overnight.

Suggestion:  If you'd like, you can form it into a roll so it's easier
to slice and put on crackers.
