Monster Cookies #2

  Amount  Measure   Ingredient
--------  -------   --------------------------------
     1/2  pound     butter
   1 1/2  pound     creamy peanut butter
       2  cup       sugar
       1  pound     brown sugar
       4  tsp       baking soda
   1 1/2  tsp       vanilla
       6            eggs
       8  cup       quick oatmeal
     1/2  pound     chocolate chips
     1/2  pound     M&M's

Preheat oven to 350.

Melt butter and peanut butter together.  Cool slightly.

In a very large bowl place the melted mixture, add sugar, brown
sugar, baking soda, vanilla, and eggs.  Mix well.

Stir in quick oatmeal, chocolate chips, and M&M's

Drop generous tablespoonfuls of dough on ungreased cooking sheet.
Bake 10-12 minutes.  Do not overbake.

Cookies will be soft when they come out of the oven.  Let them sit
on the cookie sheet for 5 minutes before removing to a rack to cool.

Store in airtight container to keep them soft.

Makes about 8 dozen cookies.
