Frango Mint Brownies
Amount Measure Ingredient

2 1 oz squares unsweetened chocolate
1/2 cup butter
2 large eggs
1 cup sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup flour
1/8 tsp salt
1/2 cup chopped pecans
1/2 cup Frango mints, chopped (approx. 4 oz) --
(available at Marshall Fields and Dayton's department stores)
Melt chocolate and butter together. Cool.
Beat eggs until thick and lemon colored. Gradually add sugar
to eggs, beating thoroughly until batter is smooth and light.
Stir in chocolate-butter mixture. Add vanilla. Mix well.
Blend in flour and salt. Fold in nuts and chopped Frangos.
Pour into 8" greased pan. Bake at 350 for 20-25 minutes, until
top is shiny and crust forms. Do not over cook.
